Inter-state robbers' gang busted, 8 held in Jaipur

Jaipur Police claimed to have busted a gang of robbers active in trains, buses and festive fairs with the arrest of eight members, police said today.

Brijmohan, Jeetpal, Ramsevak, Amit, Vijay Kumar, Gulshan, Jogendra and Rajendra, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, were arrested when they were planing a dacoity near railway station, a police spokesman said quoting DCP (South) Jone K Dose.

During interrogation, the accused have confessed to committing burglaries, robbery and loot from various places in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, besides NCR areas of Delhi, the spokesman said.

Police also recovered two gold chains from their possession, he said, adding that further investigation was on.
