J N Singh appointed as new Chief Secretary of Gujarat

Gujarat government today appointed J N Singh as the new Chief Secretary of the state.

Singh, a 1983 batch IAS officer, who was serving as additional chief secretary in the finance department, has been transferred and appointed as Chief Secretary to Gujarat government, a notification issued by General Administration Department here said.

He will replace G R Aloria, who retires tomorrow.
