Jailed former MLA hospitalised

Former BSP MLA B L Kushwah, serving life imprisonment in a murder case, was today admitted to the Sadar Hospital here after he complained of chest pain.

Kushwah was admitted to the ICU and he was under observation, medical officer of the hospital Janardan Singh said.

Kushwah was jailed in the murder case by a local court in December last year.

The Dholpur assembly constituency got vacant after he was awarded the life imprisonment and the bypoll will take place on April 9.

Kushwah's wife is contesting the bypoll as BJP candidate.
