Jammu TV artists demand Dogri channel, hold anti-govt protest

Jammu Media Joint Action Committee (JMJAC), a conglomeration of TV artists, producers, writers and technicians today held anti-government demonstration demanding a separate Dogri channel to be set up in Jammu.

Over 100 such people sat on dharna and held anti- government demonstrations and demanded a separate Dogri channel for Jammu, on the lines of Kashmir channel, to give boost to the artist and related fraternity in Jammu region.

"We demand a separate Dogri channel for Jammu region so that our talent gets boost in various fields of art and culture," a member of JMJAC said.

They also gave a memorandum to the state government over the demand in this direction.
