Jaya orders Rs 1 lakh solatium each to relatives of 14 killed

: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today ordered solatium of Rs.One lakh to the kin of each of 14 persons killed in various mishaps in the State.

She said 14 persons died in separate incidents between March and May due to various reasons, including traffic accidents, fire mishaps and after being struck by lighting and thunderbolt.

In a government release, she condoled their deaths and said the victims hailed from various districts, including Tirupur, Krishnagiri, Tirunelveli, Vellore and Villupuram.
