Prices of jeera and black pepper ended lower at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by stockists owing to sluggish demand.
Marketmen said sufficient stocks on higher supplies from producing belts against subdued demand mainly led to the fall in jeera and black pepper prices.
Jeera common and best quality were down by Rs 100 each to Rs 13,900-14,400 and Rs 17,400-17,900 per quintal, respectively.
