Jammu and Kashmir Water Sports Kayaking and Canoeing team returned home with six medals, including three gold in the National Canoe Polo and Dragon Boat Championship in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Bilquis Mir, Secretary J&K, Water Sports Kayaking & Canoeing Association applauded the 32-member contingent, who returned home, at a rousing reception here.
The team won a silver and two bronze also, besides the three yellow metal.
The players and team officials were also welcomed by Baqar Samoon, CEO, JKAP 12th Bn, Syed Nasir Ahmad, SDPO Nehru Park, Mohammad Shafi Shah (member) J&K Water Sports Association, Nisar Hussain and other members of J&K Water Sports Kayaking & Canoeing Association.
