The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today said that it would launch a region wide 'Jail Bharo Andolan' in which the leaders and activists of the party would court arrest to protest against the proposed shifting of AIIMS from Jammu to Kashmir.
"We seek public support to strengthen our fight for Jammu mission as we will start a Jail Bharo Andolan in which the leaders and the activists of the party would court arrest to protest against the shifting of AIIMS from Jammu to Kashmir," JKNPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia said.
Accusing the BJP of backstabbing the people of Jammu, he said that the saffron party has made a 'treacherous mockery' of the aspirations of the people of Jammu region by backtracking on the commitment of announcing the premier health edifice of AIIMS in Jammu.

He said that the saffron party has lost ground in its core constituency by despicably playing with the mandate and aspirations of the people of Jammu region and surrendering itself to the commands of its Kashmir centric partner PDP for the sake of power.
He said that Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party will intensify the protests for the restoration of AIIMS back to Jammu region.
"JKNPP will kick start Jail Bharo Andolan at every district headquarters from July 27. It will start from Reasi followed by Jammu on July 28, Kathua on July 29, Ramban on July 31, Udhampur on August 1, Samba August 2, Poonch August 4 and Doda on August 6," he said.
