Shares of local search engine Justdial today zoomed 9 per cent amid reports of deal talks with Google, which the company later denied.
The stock soared as much as 9 per cent to settle at Rs 500.30 on the BSE today. During the day, it surged 19.79 per cent to Rs 549.85.
At the NSE, it jumped 8.68 per cent to close at Rs 499.30.

In terms of equity volume, 35.80 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE and over 3 crore shares changed hands at the NSE during the day.
Meanwhile, the BSE earlier in the day sought clarification from Justdial with reference to news that Google and Justdial are in deal talks.
In a clarification, the company later said, "As mentioned during our previous media, investor and analyst interactions, Justdial, as part of its regular business, does meet various relevant corporates for exploring any business/strategic opportunities and tie-ups."
However, "we would like to clarify that as of now, there is no proposal in respect of acquisition of business of Justdial by Google", it added.
