Strongly condemning the July 7 blasts at Bodh Gaya temple in Bihar, DMK chief M Karunanidhi today sought action against those involved in the terror attack.

He said four days after the incident, no arrests have been made and recalled that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, among others, had visited the spot.

"I strongly condemn the attack on the Buddhist temple. I believe the Centre and the state government will take due action against those responsible," he said.

The DMK chief was responding to a set of questions in the party mouthpiece 'Murasoli.'

On the issue of recent arrest of some Indian fishermen by Sri Lankan Navy, he said while the attacks and apprehensions have become a never-ending story, any number of communication to the Centre seems to make no impact on Sri Lanka.

"I insist the Centre should therefore take determined action that will permanently solve the problems of the fishermen community in the state," he said.
