Karunanidhi may meet DMK workers soon: Kanimozhi

DMK chief M Karunanidhi, recuperating following a tracheostomy procedure, was doing well and may soon meet party workers, his daughter and Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi said today.

"He is doing well and will soon become well enough to come out and meet party supporters," she told reporters during Karunanidhi's 94th birthday celebrations here.

The nonagenarian had undergone a tracheostomy procedure in December last year to improve breathing. He has not made any public appearance since then.
