Kings XI Punjab score 188/7 against Gujarat Lions
Kings XI Punjab notched up a challenging 188 for seven against Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League (IPL) here today.
Sent into bat, Kings XI Punjab were helped by opener Hashim Amla's 65 off 40 balls, after losing Manan Vohra in the second over.
Glenn Maxwell scored a brisk 81-ball 31, while Axar Patel smashed his way to 34 off just 17 deliveries.
While Maxwell hit three sixes and a boundary, Axar struck three fours and two maximums at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
Veteran Amla found the fence nine times and cleared it twice.
