A labourer was hacked to death by his elder brother for being unruly after being denied more alcohol, police said today.
The brothers identified as Rameshwar and Sohanram, were consuming liquor in their house in Gusaisar village in Napasar police station area last night, Kuldeep Charan, SHO Napasar said.
After they finished the liquor, Rameswhar demanded more but Sohanram refused to fulfill his demand which angered Rameshwar and he left the house.
"The issue become ugly and Sohanram hit Rameshwar with an axe leaving him dead," Charan said.
Police said the accused has been caught.
