Landslides hit water supply in Kurseong

Thousand of residents are facing water crisis and difficulties in collecting pure drinking water as pipelines of public health engineering department are damaged in different spots along NH-55 since September 13.

Kurseong civic body vice chairman Sandip Bloown said the main source of water supply was not properly repaired and it will be repaired tomorrow.

Balasan water project is going to complete within this year, said an civil engineer who is engaged with this project.
