Press Trust of India New Delhi
Lead prices fell 0.23 per cent to Rs 132.90 per kg in futures trade today taking weak cues from global markets amid low demand at domestic spot market.

In futures trading at the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in June traded lower by 30 paise or 0.23 per cent to Rs 132.90 per kg with a turnover of 25 lots.

Futures for delivery in May was down by 20 paise, or 0.15 per cent at Rs 132 per kg in a business turnover of 230 lots.

Marketmen said besides weakness in copper and other base metals at the London Metal Exchange, sluggish demand from battery-makers at domestic spot market led to a marginal fall in lead futures here.
