A two-year-old male leopard was found dead today on a railway track in the Mukundra Hills National Park here, an official said.
The leopard may have accidentally come before a train, Field Director Ghanshyam Prasad Sharma told PTI.
The carcass was sent for post-mortem to ascertain the exact cause of death, he said.
The accident took place on the Darrah-Jhalawar route which is used by trains plying between Delhi-Mumbai, he added.
