Light rain occurred at isolated places in western Uttar Pradesh as cold conditions prevailed at some places in the state.
Temperatures fell appreciably in Moradabad and Meerut divisions, rose markedly in Allahabad division, rose appreciably in Faizabad division, rose in Lucknow and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state, MeT department said.
It was below normal in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Nazibabad, Jhansi divisions and normal in the remaining divisions of the state.
The lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Hamirpur and Nazibabad at 3.2 degrees Celsius each.
MeT department has forecast that fog would occur at many places tomorrow with warning of dense to very dense fog at few places.
