Three women were killed and another seriously injured after being struck by lightening in southern Nepal today, police said.
The accident occurred at Prakomaba village in Dhanusha district while the women went to a farm to collect grass.
The deceased have been identified as Parvatidevi Mandal (50), Anitadevi Mandal (30) and Ritadevi Mandal (28).
45-year-old Jalasidevi Mandal who sustained injuries from the accident is undergoing treatment at Janakpur Hospital.
