A minor girl was allegedly harassed by several persons from her village, who later opened fire on her family when confronted by them, injuring three persons, police said today.
The accused, including Vishal, Satyaveer, and Awnish had harsassed the girl in Purahar village.
When the girl's family confronted them, the accused, along with two others -- Hari Prasad and Hriday Ram -- fired upon them, seriously injuring three.
They were admitted to a local hospital and later referred to one in Farrukhabad.
An FIR was lodged yesterday in this connection, police said, adding that the accused are absconding.
