Grammy-winning singer Lorde feels the best way to cope with fame is to detach oneself from the showbiz scene.
The 18-year-old singer has experienced global success since releasing her song 'Royals', but the down-to-earth star ensures she does not let her fame and fortune go to her head by isolating herself, reported Contactmusic.
"I still feel detached from the world and I don't buy into it. I'm kind of boring - I like to swim and go for walks, and just to have pretty clothes and for my room to look nice," she said.

"I think it's healthy for me to have people who are in no way afraid of saying, 'Shut up, you have no idea what you're talking about.' I have the coolest parents ever and one of them is always on tour with me.
