LS polls: 16 candidates in fray for Solapur seat, 24 for Madha

Sixteen candidates remained in the fray in Solapur Lok Sabha constituency, while 24 are contesting the polls for the Madha parliamentary seat.

The Madha constituency, vacated by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, is witnessing a fight between two brothers- former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Vijaysinh Mohite-Patil and his younger brother Pratapsinh Mohite-Patil, who has filed his nomination as the candidate of Maharashtra Rajya Janseva Sanghatana.
