Police claim to have arrested a man who allegedly sexually assaulted the dead body of a minor girl in Pakistan's Punjab province.
Police arrested Abdul Waheed yesterday who confessed to his crime.
The accused committed the horrendous act after digging open the grave of the girl, hours after her burial last week in Qila Dedar Singh, about 80 kilometres from here.

The girl, a grade-VI student, was electrocuted while taking a bath in her house and was buried in the evening last Tuesday.
Early the following morning when the members of the girl's family went to the graveyard to offer Fateha (prayers) they found her body lying near the grave.
They held a demonstration and blocked the road for several hours to protest against the desecration of the body.
The postmortem report had confirmed that the girl's body was sexually assaulted.
