Man beaten up with shoes for eve-teasing sisters

A 30-year-old man was beaten up and handed over to police for allegedly eve-teasing two sisters at Shamli district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when the suspect misbehaved with the girls while they were on their way to tuition classes. The locals then caught hold of the man and thrashed him with shoes, police said.

He was then handed over to us, they added.
