Man dies in accident on Noida Expressway

One person was killed while another sustained injuries in a road accident that took place on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway near Sector 93 area, police said.

The mishap occurred last night when the rider lost control over his two-wheeler following a tyre burst.

The victim, identified as Pravin, died while being taken to the hospital whereas his son-in-law Shobit, who was riding the scooter, is injured and his condition is stated to be stable.

Meanwhile in another accident, a pedestrian was fatally knocked down by a vehicle in the Sector-100 area when he was crossing the road.

Identity of the victim has not been established yet, police said.
