The special sessions court here today sentenced a 24 years old man to three years' rigorous imprisonment on the charge of molesting a six years old girl.
According to the prosecution, the accused Arpit Youhan Aghamkar molested a six years old girl who had been enrolled in his dance class.
The crime came to light when the girl refused to attend the class two months after joining and told her parents that Aghamkar touched her private parts.

In September 2013, the girls' parents lodged a complaint with Sadar Bazar police station.
Prosecutor V L Mukim examined six witnesses during the trial.
After hearing both sides, judge Anagha Rotte sentenced Aghamkar to three years' RI under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, and imposed a fine of Rs 3,000.
