A 55-year-old man was arrested for allegedly repeatedly raping his married stepdaughter at his residence here, police said today.
Jetha Rathod was apprehended yesterday after the 23-year-old victim lodged a complaint against him with Malaviya Nagar police station, sources said.
According to police, the woman, married with a three-year-old daughter, had been staying at the house of Rathod and her mother for last five months following some marital dispute with her husband.
Police said Rathod had been repeatedly raping the woman by threatening her to kill her daughter.
The victim finally approached police yesterday and got Rathod arrested.
