Man kills self after wife's suicide

Unable to bear the death of his wife, who committed suicide over family quarrel, a man today ended his life at Panamarathupatty in the district, leaving his two children orphans, police said.

Saravanan, a silversmith, was heartbroken since his wife committed self-immolation on September 24 following a domestic quarrel.

He hanged himself in the house this morning, police said.

He is survived by three-year old daughter and a 10-month old son.
