Man mowed down by reckless car driver

A 35-year-old man was mowed down allegedly by a reckless driver in Haryana's Faridabad district, police said today.

The deceased identified as Rahul Sharma, a resident of Jawahar colony, was killed when he was hit by a car near Surajkund road driven by an unidentified person, police said.

The deceased's relative, Sachin Sharma, a resident of SGM nagar filed a complaint of rash and negligent driving in this regard with the police, they said adding a manhunt has been launched to arrest the absconding accused.
