Man stabbed to death by brother

A man was stabbed to death allegedly by his younger brother for opposing supply of liquor to their village here.

The two brothers-- Ranvir and Gautam -- had a heated argument when Ranvir opposed supplying of liquor by Gautam at Bhikki village yesterday, police said.

In a fit of rage, Gautam allegedly stabbed to death Ranvir.

Guatam has been arrested, they said.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a youth was beaten up when he opposed three youths who were eveteasing in Titawi area.

The incident took place in a bus which was on its way to Muzaffarnagar from neighbouring Shamli yesterday, police said.
 

The injured youth was admitted to hospital.
