Man strangles daughter to death

Charan Singh returned home drunk late last night after which he tried to molest his daughter, SSP Gulab Singh said.

When she refused to let him, in a fit of anger he strangled her to death, the SSP said, adding he burnt her body to hide his crime.

Villagers informed the police of the incident and the accused was arrested, they said.
