Manna Dey's condition stable, no deterioration in health

The condition of playback legend Manna Dey, undergoing treatment in a city cardiac speciality hospital, continues to be stable, doctors attending on him said today.

"Manna Dey continues to be in the same stable condition. No deterioration (in his health)," a spokesman for Narayana Hrudayalaya told PTI here.

The hospital said yesterday the 94-year-old is responding to treatment for age-related complications, espcially related to neuro-respiratory, and his health had shown slight improvement.

Dey has sung more than 3,500 songs in different languages. He made Bangalore his home after living in Mumbai for 50 years.
