Maoist arrested

arrested from a place in Bihar's Patna district, a police official said.

Acting on a tip off, the police nabbed the ultra, identified as Satyendra Manjhi, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amrit Raj said.

A mobile phone and Rs 1190 were recovered from Manjhi's possession, he said.

The ultra, a native of Mudrika Mushari village in Patna district, was wanted in eight cases related to Maoist activities, the SSP said.
