MCI Chairman appointed as honorary advisor health to Pb govt

Chairman of Medical Council of India K K Talwar has been appointed as the honorary advisor to the Punjab government for health and medical education.

Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has directed Principal Secretary of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education and Research to immediately issue the formal order in this regard, an official spokesman said.

Talwar had earlier served as Director of the PGIMER here, he said.
