Mehbooba presents gift of Rs 1 lakh to Tajamul

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today presented a gift of Rs 1 lakh to eight-year-old Tajamul Islam who recently made history by winning the gold medal in the sub-junior category at the World Kickboxing Championship in Italy.

Mehbooba, who met Tajamul here today, expressed happiness that the latter attained this feat at a very young age and hoped that children of her age would take a cue from her.
