Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today said her government would partner with International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in its endeavour to involve youths in civic education, first aid, and other training initiatives.
Regional Head of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC), Mary Werntz called on the Chief Minister here and discussed several issues, an official spokesman said.
The Chief Minister praised the good work done by ICRC in health hygiene in schools of Poonch and Rajouri districts.
He said the Chief Minister suggested ICRC could be involved in advancement of skills commensurate with requirement of emerging economic environment, which will enable youths to be gainfully employed.
