Mentha oil down 0.3% on profit-booking
Oil for delivery in January contracts traded lower by 0.24%

Mentha oil prices fell by 0.25% to Rs 747.70 per kg in futures market today after speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid subdued demand from consuming industries in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in February month shed Rs 1.90, or 0.25% to Rs 747.70 per kg in business turnover of 179 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in January contracts traded lower by Rs 1.80, or 0.24% to Rs 736.70 per kg in 210 lots.
Analysts attributed the weakness in mentha oil prices at futures trade was mostly due to profit-booking by traders at existing higher levels amid sluggish from consuming industries in the spot market.
