Mercury settles at 9.9 deg C in Delhi

Delhiites woke up to a hazy day on Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 9.9 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.

The relative humidity at 8:30 am was recorded at 99 per cent.

The Safdarjung Observatory, whose reading is considered the official marking for the city, recorded 9.9 degrees Celsius.

Observatories at Palam, Lodhi Road and Ayan Nagar registered 9.4 degrees Celsius, 9.2 degrees Celsius and 9.1 degrees Celsius, a MeT Department official said.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 19 degrees Celsius.
