Michelle MacLaren to direct 'Cowboy Ninja Viking'

Director Michelle MacLaren, who has worked on shows like "Breaking Bad", "Game of Thrones" and "The Walking Dead", has been roped in by Universal Pictures to helm their upcoming movie, "Cowboy Ninja Viking".

The movie features Chris Pratt as a new kind of assassin with the ability to manifest the toughest skills of three different personas, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Based on the graphic novel by A J Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo, the screenplay was originally written by Paul Wernick and Everett David Reese, with Craig Mazin handling the latest draft.

"Cowboy Ninja Viking" is scheduled to release on June 28, 2019.
