A combined team of Bishnupur
district police commando and 112 Bihar Regiment arrested a militant belonging to outlawed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) during a search operation at Nambol Bazar in Manipur's Bishnupur district.
A press release issued by PRO police department Manipur said, the arrested militant was identified as self-styled corporal of UNLF Khundongbam Kiran Khanganba alias Morning (28) of Heirok Mayai Leikai of Manipur's Thoubal district.
He was suspected to be involved in attacking against security forces.
