Minor allegedly raped by neighbour in Rajasthan

A 14-year old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Mahesh Nagar area of the state capital, police said today.

The girl's mother approached the police this morning alleging that the accused, identified as Zameel Khan, aged 22 -23 years, raped her daughter on Sunday, they said.

"The incident occurred at the rented accommodation of the accused. The victim and the accused both live nearby and in rented accommodations," the police said.

An FIR has been lodged by the police but no arrest has been made so far.
