A 15-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped from Rori village here and a case registered after his family failed to trace him, police said today.
Nikhil Misra, a son of a farmer, left his residence yesterday telling his parents that he is going to the fields, but did not return, they said.
The family members tried looking for him but could not trace him, following which they informed the police.
An FIR was lodged against unidentified persons in this connection and a search is on for the boy, police said.
No arrest has been made so far, they added.
