Minor fire breaks out at a private school, no one injured

A minor fire today broke out at a private school here but none of the students or staff were injured in the incident, fire officials said.

"The fire was reported in the upper storey of Oasis School cum creche at Gogjibagh. It was doused by fire brigade personnel," an official of the Fire and Emergency Services Department said.

He said all the students and staff of the school were evacuated to safety and no one was hurt in the incident.

The blaze has damaged the upper storey of the school.

The cause of the fire was being ascertained, he added.
