Minor girl abducted and raped in Muzaffarnagar

An 11-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from her house and raped by a man at Sadruddinnagar village in Bhorakala area here, police said today.

According to a complaint lodged by the victim's father, the incident occurred yesterday when the girl was abducted by Jaiprakash (28), SHO Jitender Kumar said.

The accused took her to his house and raped her. His family members were not at home when the crime took place, the SHO said.

The victim narrated the incident to her parents after she reached home, Kumar said, adding, she has been sent for medical examination.

A case has been registered against the accused who is absconding, he said.
