Minor raped in Ballia

A 15 year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth in a village here, police said today.

The girl had gone to an agriculture field where the accused Manish Yadav raped her yesterday, they said.

The father of the girl had lodged a named FIR at Chilbadagaon police station here against the youth and two of his accomplice including a woman, police said, adding that efforts were on to nab them.

The girl has been sent for medical examination, police added.
