Missing woman found murdered in UP

A woman who went missing two days ago was found murdered in a jungle at Mubarakpur village here, police said today.

Rajo, widow of late Rajpal (45), was allegedly strangulated to death with her sari, they said.

The victim, a resident of Mubarakpur village, had gone to the jungle to collect wood but when she did not return, her family members lodged a complaint, police said.

A case has been registered against unidentified persons and the body has been sent for post-mortem, they said.
