Missing woman's body found in charred condition

The charred body of a 40-year-old woman, who was missing since Monday, has been found in a village in Shamli district, police said today.

Guddi had on Monday gone to purchase some goods and was carrying Rs 50,000 in cash. Her body was yesterday found in a charred condition in Sunheta village, Circle Officer Nishang Sharma said.

It is suspected the culprits set her on fire after looting the cash, he said.
