Moderates rains at some places in Western UP

Isolated places over western Uttar Pradesh experienced light to moderate rains or thundershowers in the last 24 hours while rest of the state remained parched in the absence of showers.

According to the MeT department, chief amount of rainfall was recorded in Etawah 5 cms, Turtipar, Mathura, Rampur 2-cms each, Deoria, Churk and Dudhi 1 cms-each.

It also predicted heavy rains or thundershowers at many places in the state tomorrow.
