Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address Sri Lanka's Parliament and visit Jaffna during his upcoming trip to the country, which will be a part of three-nation tour including Mauritius and Seychelles as well.

"I embark on my visit to Sri Lanka with joy & the confidence that the visit will make India-SL relations even stronger in the years to come," Modi tweeted about his three-nation visit beginning on March 10.

"Apart from addressing the SL Parliament, I will visit Maha Bodhi Society & will visit Jaffna," he said in another tweet.

Talking about Mauritius where he will be on March 11 and 12, he said, "Am happy to be with the people of Mauritius as they celebrate their National Day on 12th."

In Mauritius too, he said he will address their National Assembly and join the programme to mark the commissioning of the Barracuda, Mauritian offshore petrol vessel.

Turning to Seychelles, he said India's ties with that country are special.

"Am sure my visit will be a productive one & will benefit both our nations," he added.
