Heavy rains hit normal life in eastern Rajasthan with Rajgarh receiving the maximum rainfall of 110 mm during the last 24 hours, a MeT official said.
Barring western districts of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner, moderate to heavy rains occurred in most parts of the state as south west monsoon set in, the official said.
Deedwana recorded the maximum rainfall of 90 mm followed by Alwar, Baran, Roopwas, Merta 80 mm each, Ladnu, Ramgarh, Peepalkunt, Laxmangarh, Saphu, Malakhera, and Dholpur 60 mm each.
