More than Rs 4.45 crore distributed to service organisations

Welfare Minister M Kandasamy today handed over grant in aid to voluntary and service organisations taking care of street children and abandoned kids.

The grant totalling Rs 4,45,19,400 was handed to the organisations at a function on the premises of the Assembly here today, a release said.

The grant was provided under Integrated Child Development scheme by the Union Women and Child development Ministry, the release said.
